    Exclamation Low idle

    i have a 97 prelude ATTS and recently it has started idling low at 200 revs (not 2000). Anyone got any ideas whats wrong and how to fix it

    you could try tightening your accelerater cable, found just infront of your fuel injectors if you've got a 5th gen.

    is the idle low only at start up or is it always, ie once you've been driving for a while?

    Is it an auto or manual?

    First thing is to check all the vaccum lines which can obviously effect the idle.

    Before we can further trounbleshoot can you give more info on how this occured? Did it happen after a service, following a car wash or just out of the blue? The more info you give the further we can delve into the problem.... Ooops, just checked the date of your post and I assume it's likely fixed by now. If not I'll try and help.
