opinions on short shifter skunk2 or fastline

    hi guys,

i have an em1 and a while ago i bought a skunk2 dual bend shifter but then weeks later before i installed it i saw the fastline performance shifter and fell in love and bought it.

they've both arrive but i dont know which one to install now.

what do you reckon?? i know its my choice but would love some opinions and thoughts

    thanks guys!!!

fastline actually makes you shift faster, short shifter makes you feel like your shifting faster.

    Compare the two together..
Position of the gear knob.. Which one feels bettter?
Is the end of the shifter longer on 1 of them? The longer the end to the shifter linkages the fast it will shift!

Plz post a pic with them together! I don't know how they look, I thought the skunk2 was the same height as OEM but longer at the linkages.. Becoz I wanted to install a quick shifter but my exhaust was touching already..

Ive never had a short shifter or anything like this because I just cant see how they are worth it unless you have a full racecar that you are taking to the track every weekend. I can shift pretty fast with my standard setup anyways lol

fastline feels so much better and more solid.

ive got 1 and ive also added a 4inch extension on top of the fast line and it feels even better for me now. (this is not daily driven)
still feels solid and still has the same throw if not a little shorter then stock.

Thanks keep the thoughts and opinions coming.

I'm leaning towards The fastline only because of the original factor and the fact I got it from the USA. But then I think Maybe it's too big and will look out of place...
