i can smell a burning smell from my engine bay and inside the cabin, i think its the clutch
if it is the clutch, what do i do next? and is the car still drivable?

if the clutch is burnt out, when you change gears, it will take time to grip (on the flipside, it will slip). Its also a fairly distinct smell, get someone round who could identify that for you.

What do you do next? You take it straight to a mechanic and electrician and DONT drive it until its fixed! If you have a short then you are asking for trouble to say the least.

Is it a new clutch ?? Coz if it is, you need to take it easy when you're driving. At least 200 kms ++ ?? Otherwise your car gonna be stinking of clutch even from the inside.
