    While i do agree
    You can water log the fllter and then your car will begin to slowly choke suffering from air loss, i've had this problem before..

    I had an injen CAI without hydro sock on my DA9 for over a year, drove it in the rain a lot over time, never had any issues.

    i wanted a mugen originally anyway settled for the injen...
    then changed my mind and didnt want to have to worry everytime it rained...
    which had seemed to be alot at the time...
    got a mugen in now and am more then happy with it.
    THERES NO CAR LIKE A TYPE R
