    Exhaust System and Air Intake

    Hi All,

    I have a recently purchased DC5 Type R.

I am looking at exhaust system and air intake as my first mods to the car.

I am looking at a few combo's at the moment:

Skunk2 system and Gruppe M or ARC air intake.

Spoon system and Gruppe M or ARC air intake.

Has anyone used these products? Also, any other suggestions are welcome...

    Thanks

    Skunk2 Sounds very very nice.
Gruppe M or INJEN for intake...
Wouldn't get ARC... It's only for looks... doesn't really give any gains...
Plenty of info about intakes on site if you use the search button! =)

    Cheers

Get the Skunk2/Fujitsubo paired with an injen and it'll be good!

I'd get Gruppe M intake, Toda header, Fujitsubo powergetter/rm01a for daily driving or Skunk2 for a weekend car as you will probly go deaf driving it as a daily lol

Hey mate, I have been running the skunk2 megapower system ($950) and it sounds perfect I love it to death! And as for intake ignore arc completely ($800+, not 100% sure), get gruppem if you want a bling looking engine bay ($1000) or injen cai ($350 from the US) if you want a great sound and great performance. Ignore the massive price difference it's only because gruppem is a carbon fiber air box with little mechanisms and pieces of alloy that tunnel airflow, where injen is just simple power through a pipe. Can't go wrong

but in order to install ur injen , u gotta cut ur left guard, and also ur engine bay will look really empty, but it sounds better than gruppem i reckon
