10w 30 per the owners manual, I would suggest fully synthetic but brands and alternate viscosities are personal preference.

hello. i have a 99 model s2k with 130,000km. I use Castrol Edge 5W-30. I was using penrite (cant remember the viscosity) but i found castrol provided a much smoother ride and didnt burn the oil as much. When you service it make sure to use Nulon Engine Oil Flush, helps get all the yucky oil out as you dont want to put nice new oil in a dirty engine.

elf is a very good oil but not used often in aus i use motul crono and service it every 2500ks you must remeber not many engines rev to 9000rpm and if you intend to rev it to that you must use the best

every 2500! why so often? if you're using a good quality synthetic it'll last much longer than that before starting to break down. the shortest interval i would use is 5000.

The ELF stuff is great. Especially if you can get it for a good price. Renault used to bring it in, but have since stopped. So I bought a 44 gallon drum before they discontinued it :P
