yeah buy one which is already has been turbocharged..SAVES U LOTZZZZ OF MONEY... i added a turbo to my eg6 which was only pushing around 170kw .. but the amount of money and time spend into it wasnt worth it .. but then it depends on each individual .. 10k would give you a good setup.. but thngs can be done whole lot cheaper as well ..

Sounds like a few ppl here know a thing or 2 about forced induction,

Mind if I ask, how do I register my turbo b16a into my ek1 at the RTA?

Imo the most sensible way to keep traction above 200kw is to go 4wd your eg will just sit there and spin

i only raced my itr once
it made 240kw at the wheels

    i ran 12.88 @ 113mph
i was using small (205/50/15 toyo r888 semis)
and was crossing the line on the limiter in 4th
so a taller tyre may have resulted in a 115 or 116mph
and like i said first time out
    so my 60ft was 2.1

    Ek honda civic hatch
if you want to talk power vs mph

my full weight ek hatch ran 124mph with 250kw, and before that it ran 124mph with 300hp

lol mods made a little more power, but didnt affect the mph much at all..

not sure what mph your friend would run in his gtr.. but they need alot of power to run good mph from what i know, and hondas need very little.
