    another Hondata question!!

hey guys. got my new ecu in and running, and it came with a set button. so i decided to hook up launch control.

i have a few issues. first of all when i hook up hondalogger, it connects for a split second then says connection error. it has datalogging unlocked.

secondly, the big issue! the launch control. i bought and tried 2 different stop light switches. so its not that.

i push the button, light flashes once, i then bring revs up to desired launch point, quickly press brake pedal, push clutch in, and the car revs past the launch point?

    what is going on!!!

Yes s200, I wnt and got another switch, I got an actual clutch switch this time
So I have tried both cruise control switch and brake light switch can get it to work momentarily, like rev- bounce then it goes to limiter

    You need the following:
    http://hondata.com/updates/?app=rome...ction=download
    http://hondata.com/updates/FTDIUSBFixSetup.exe
    +
    Hondata RomEditor4 cable

    +http://www.moates.net/burn2-chip-pro....html?cPath=94

The launch control needs to be set through programing the chip.
It can be set 2 ways, through the use of the clutch switch or via VSS
The VSS method is easier & frees up your clutch switch for gear change ignition cut.

NB: Hondalogger software cannot change S200 settings or chip programme settings
Use above listed software & products to re-write your chip & activate launch control.

To read the chip, insert chip into chip burner & read chip.
    Then save buffer to file.
Buffer is a binary file, so when searching to open it when done, change file type setting to ".bin"
Open file, change settings & burn chip via Rom Editor4 software

Or go & see someone who knows how to do this.
    Hope that helps.

hey toda thanks heaps. actually got it working without that. just started working only problem now is, launch control only works once. only for the first time i use the clutch. if i want to reuse i must turn ignition off and then on again.

and also. when i connect to hondalogger, i have to raise error limit to ten. and then it connects but doesnt show any realtime information everything is on zero
