d16a8 vs b16a2
which is better, both dohc, both 1.6ltr. have watch on youtube lol as fair as i seen d16a8 appears to be fast? im not saying d16a8 is faster then b16 or the other way round. just wants to know the pros and cons.
-
lol i had a d16a8 , with CAI , headers and just a muffler axle back
and ive smashed b16a's and sr20's , supra v6 non turbos easy !!
-
really u smashed sr20? u mean sr20de, that i can belive lol
B16a2 is much better engine, thats a fact! its newer, better power per liter, torque, drive train, cylinder head design, vtec intergration etc...
As much as i love D-series motor, B-series is the better performer

hahaha yea i get you.... but yea id love to play around with a d16a8, since not many ppl have em, an plus it was the base for the b16
A boosted d16a8 would make wonders for any one
-
I've got a D16A8 as much as I love it I would go for the B16, unless your planning on boosting the D16, but even then a boosted B16 would be more feasable? and it has vtec! but thats just my personal opinion
-
i thought d16 got vtec too, lol coz i hear some kinda crossover with d16 on youtube
-
d16y1 is a sohc vtec
d16a8 is a dohc non vtec
-
D16 y1 an y8 vtec models, d16a8 twin cam non-vtec
Oh utube vids... reminds me of those kids who hooked up pipes into there cabin to hear the cross over lol
-
some d series have vtec, lol i always thought d16a8 did have vtec crossover, just wana compare it to b16
