Do the inside first bro, if your cars gonna look crap at least be comfortable inside it (like mine )
Cheap sound deadening isn't really worth it, the jarcar stuff isn't as dense as the dynamat/roadkill and the adhesiveness isn't there, so in hot weather it might not hold especially on vertical surfaces.
No need for 400 bucks bro, thats if you wanna go all out.
Dynamat have kits for specific sections of the car you can work on.
Speaker kit roughly $25-$35 (2x 10"x10" (254mm x 254mm) pieces of Dynamat Xtreme)
Front doors kit roughly $100-$120 (4x 12" x 36" (305mm x 914mm) pieces of Dynamat Xtreme)
Trunk kit roughly $160-$200 (5x 18" x 32" (457mm x 812mm) pieces of Dynamat Xtreme)
Bulk Kit roughly $240-$300 (9x 18"x 32" (457mm x 812mm) pieces of Dynamat Xtreme)
Roadkill is abit cheaper and in my eyes the same quality (the alluminium backing feels thicker even on the roadkill). JBhifi have the universal pack (2x 12" x 24" pieces) for $70, cheaper even if you catch them on a car audio sale.
If you want better sound, do the doors and block service holes first.
ekcoupe, your eg makes me wanna have babies....
