    Exclamation D15b7 to D16y4

    Hey guys,
I've done some searching but none have been very useful.

    I'm doing an engine + gearbox conversion from a EK1 (d16y4) to my EG4 (d15b7)
I've been told that I will be using my EG engine mounts, ALL wiring and sensors.
And also that I will be using my D15b7 dizzy, and the D16y4 ECU as well.

Is there anything else that needs to be done in order to get it up and running?
I will be changing the sensors from the d15b7 to the d16y4 because the plugs aren't made to fit.

Both engine's are out, and I 'think' all that needs to be done is the wiring/sensors for the engine to go in.

    Help would be appreciated,
    Thanks

Question D15z1 out D16Y4 in EG

gday, i am about to do the same except currently i have a d15z1 in my eg. why do you have to use the eg engine mounts? what about gearbox mounts? do you just have the whole car or just the engine? any help you can give me would be great. thanks in advance.

when i did a d15b7 -> d16y8. Rear mount backet needs to be swap over from d15b7. i also had some issue with the power steering bracket. I had to use the power steering from d15b7 becoz the hoses don't match up if i use the d16y8 unit.

Or just go hardcore and leave power steering out.
