    h22a4 in eg hatch questions

Ok, so just finishing up a h22a4 in an eg hatch.

Running a p5m (jap spec according to seller of ecu).

Throwing codes 6 (engine coolant temp), and 30 (auto gearbox).
Also, knock sensor not even connected but it doesnt show on error codes

Are these any reasons why the engine wont fire??

Do obd2a injectors require resistors? Heard somewhere only obd1 does
Getting fuel at the rail for sure. Getting spark also.

Can anyone tell me if any of the things i havent finished are the cause of the engine not running?

I would have expected it to at least start and run and probably die, but a start would have been awesome.

Any advice will be much appreciated.

Hmm I'm not completely sure, but I bought a jap spec automatic bb6 h22a motor and it came with a ecu that had code "P5m"
any chance you might have a jap spec auto ECU?

Yea, I told you it was from auto H22a though, you said it shouldn't matter.
Maybe you should contact ECU-MAN, I'm sure he will be able to help you with the codes.
I didnt know you were doing Dre's car..
