    lifting points for d series

gday, where are the best lifting points to remove a d series engine and gearbox?
    cheers

there is a place for a 14mm headed bolt on the top right hand corner - near the fuel pressure regulator.
And there is a clip point on the gearbox itself (gold metal bracket in and around below the distributor area) - place for a U clip or similar to use a chain to lift.

im not sure what it stands for but it effects all the plugs and harness type - if the engines are different obd than you will have to change over all the wiring as well
the y4 isnt vtec so im not sure if ECU will be an issue - P28 is a good ECU for non vtec stuff but it will show up a vtec CEL light

wait a second - was the D15z1 carby or efi? my EG8 has a D15b7 in it and its EFI

if it was originally carby u will need to do a full EFI conversion on the car as well
