    Jaylah, the wiring diagram you were given was mostly correct, but you do have to connect the power antenna wire to get proper radio reception. That car as with most later model stuff with stubby roof-mounted antennae has an amplifier in the antenna that needs to be powered up. you may have noticed that AM reception in particular is woeful without it (repost if you want to know which wire)

    Yes please help me with the power wiring for the car antenna, my AM reception is woeful

    Although this is an old thread, I would like to know which wire to power up the antenna too.

    Got my aftermarket device up and running but the radio drops in and out, very unstable.

    Please help..... Many thanks in advance.
