My fuel pump has started making a really weird humming/vibrating sound, ive determined its the pump cos its coming from the boot area. Before when i turned the ignition to "power" the pump would make the usual noise for 5 seconds but now when i turn the ignition it makes the same noise but its a really loud hum, its definetely not normal, and even when the engine is on you can hear it humming away its so annoying.. my cars a 94 accord auto with 250,000ks, it still starts and accelerates smooth... is the pump on its way out? has anyone else got this problem?
