isnt it the charcoal canister that absorbs the fuel vapors from the fuel tank?

on my car it has a small line from the intake manifold, one line to the throttle body and one line coming from the fuel tank

i plugged the lines from the intake manifold and throttle body and let the fuel tank line open to breathe - i than proceeded to throw the canister and valve in the bin ....

juss leave the sensor off when you install the new engine - if it doesnt give a CEL - rip it out

i use heaps of parts from the states

if you want to bump the compression a little you can get thinner gaskets from cometic - say 75.5mm with ARP head bolts should net some nice compression lol

    or just use OEM

i am using the gearbox that was on the engine when i pulled it out of the ek. everything seems to be ok.
