Dc5r question?

Hey guys
Ive been looking for a dc5r lately and ive found one that caught my eye but i just wanted to ask, does the plate under the bonnet say DC5R??? Because this one im looking at says DC5 only... I dont think its a mock up type r but how do you check this?

you should check the vin and engine number to be sure

Yeh checked those but it does say if its a genuine type R. All it had written was DC5. Im sure there are ways to tell if its a type R. I really doubt thats its not but id rather ask and make sure

The vin will never put a R after dc5. Read below and you will get what i mean.

Do the dc5r's have aluminum door panels and bonnet etc like the dc2r's?
