    Help with 2005 CIVIC GLI

    Hey there everybody!

    I am currently the owner of a 1990 Black Prelude and i am looking to buy a new car as the prelude is in its dying days

    anyways im looking to buy a 2004-2006 civic and just have a couple questions;

    Does the 2005 GLi have a V-TEC engine? As on some webites per example:

    http://www.carsales.com.au/all-cars/...0%204294765256

    states it has a VTEC engine, but ive read that GLI's dont have a VTEC engine so im quite confused :S

    and if not is there much of a difference between the VTEC?

    cheers,

    Sebastien

    I think it's SOHC VTEC. It's a D17Z1 engine for your reference.

    We had a 2005 Civic GLi 1.7 and it is not a Vtec engine.
