What is needed for engine conversion

hey guys, i tried the search but after a quick read i couldnt find the answer.

i'm in the process of finding a half cut. im after a b16a2 conversion into my sedan. now. my main question are about engine number and such.
    lets say..

i buy a half cut from a wrecker and get the receipt. then i drop it off to the work shop. they install it, get it running. then i go and to the rta and change details.

is there anythung else i need. think i need a blue slip.

also, can i get answer from people who have done it and know what exactly is involved.
    thankyou.

you need to get a blue slip to show the new engine number then take it to the rta along with the receipt for the motor and that's all.

Save your money, don't even bother with the conversion. Just because it's a b16 and has vtec doesn't mean it's going to haul ass. No point in doing it unless your current motor is blown which I'm assuming it isn't.

No just a receipt from whoever you purchase the motor from.
