Civic Bulb Replacement Guide

the bulb replacement for the Civi is:

May i ask something:
1) the above are for the Civic in the USA and Canada, are the information the same as to our Australia Civic?
2) i want to increase the coverage of the reverse light when i park my car, as the web site mentioned the 'back up light' is 7440, does anyone know what exactly it is? is it T10? or things like 168?
3) it would be great if someone can translate all those code to things like T10, 168, etc, as i check our Civic manual, it doesnt mentioned which type of bulb it is, but just showing the Watt of the bulb. So, it's hard to distinguish the type of bulb.

From the looks of it they look the same, but all the bulb types can be found in the manual towards the back
w5w=T10, the license plate is also using T10 so I'd assume 168=T10 aswell?

grrr i hate bulbs numbers, I don't understand why there are these crappy names.

yes, 168 is a t10. If you haven't already figured out, T10 means wedge base bulb that is 10mm wide.

If u need to ask a bulb just ask.. I think the reverse lights are T20 or something.. but just take it out and measure it for yourself.
