quick question

hey guys.. da tape player on my car is stock.. but how do i change da balance of it? its on right atm.. fkn tryed pressin any button.. hehe..

any clues?

hey man,

it would help if you stated the model/year of your car, and describe the tape deck if possible. There should be a Fader/Tone type button/pullout knob ...sometimes on or next to your Volume knob. You should be able to pull the knob out to a next setting then adjust your fade....
If that doesn't work try and post in the Audio section, they'll probably be able to give you more info there.

afaik I remember it was a 4th Gen, stock decks I think had a "FUNC" button you had to press a few times to get the fade or balance functions, then use the volume control to go front/back/left/right

I'll dig up ye old HU tomorrow from the basement to see if I was right...

that's on my civic too aaron but instead of FUNC, mine says SEL

Press the SEL button till you get to the required option and turn the volume switch clockwise or anticlockwise for left or right i suppose.
