Jazz GD3 AUX official AUX kit. Exists?

    hullo everyone.
I have a DIY AUX cable in my gfs jazz vti - great and all but fiddly and basically falls in and out of L/R channels due to a bad connection. Yes , my fault but I wonder.
Is there an actual OEM AUX cable or kit for this jazz ?
Or , does anyone here know of a direct harness-to-AUX jack cable out there ? I just want something easily plugged into on the dash from my ipod to a male/male AUX cable.

    thanks !

i've been looking for something like this for a while. most FM transmitters either have horrible sound quality or have useless features and hence cost way to much. also the fact that you have to dangerously reach down while driving to change song. My current fm transmitter also has the same issue as bennjamin of falling in/out of left/right channels, i suspect due to a bad 3.5mm jack or wiring in the transmitter.

@flipfire: do you know if the adaptor is plug'n'play for a gd3?

i remeber seeing an ipod adaptor from Honda a while ago. seemed a bit fidly with a large adaptor box when you could just DIY a cable straight from the radio.

Im not sure if that adapter works but I just ended up DIY'ing it using a CAT6 cable and terminating it to a flush mount female jack on the fascia.

Quality is good, no issues. I taped it down hard.

sounds like a good solution. how much did it cost for parts? i'm a massive electrical/tech newbie so i don't rly wanna DIY. hoping someone out there might be able to do it for me :P
when DIY'ing, can you put the jack anywhere in the dash provided the wires are long enough?
    Cheers

$0 since you can make it out of scrap parts and equipment. Its quite easy to do. Yes you can put the jack where ever you want you or just dangle the cable on the center console.

-6 pin harness from an old honda cd stacker or DIY PC case pins
    -Termination plug or jack
    -Soldering iron
-Heat shrink (optional) or electric tape
-Duct tape (to secure the cable from vibrations)
    -Extra wire (optional)

i'm moving towards the xcarlink adaptor as it utilises the radio controls to change song etc which is much safer. not sure if it'll work with a iphone3gs, but i can't get in contact with them as their contact page on their site isn't working.

About $55 AU or so - looks to be the same thing as mentioned above !

had a look at the dash/hu to figure out how to get the radio unit out, but for the love of god i cannot figure out how to get it off. there seem to be no screws or tabs or anything to push/pull/twist. is it just a case of brute force? i sure hope not
