Clutch issue B series cable box.

Was driving fine one minute, then couldn't get into gear the next.

Tried tensioning the clutch cable and wedging a metal shim in there to get more lift.

    clutch feels the same.

is this a pressure plate failure?

I'm guessing a clutch disc failure would be gradual, not sudden like I have described.

any other tips or new clutch?

Can you see if the clutch fork is actually moving? That would be a start.. If that isn't moving then means your cable has an issue. If it does move then it's a pressure plate or clutch plate. Although it's unlikely to be pp or clutch plate due to it being sudden.

    no worries guys.

got someone to press the clutch pedal for me.

it looks like the plastic nut is cracked and the thread to adjust that nut is gone.

just made it in time to honbits for a new cable.
