    air intake/manifold

    hi guys,
I recently got myself a new air intake.. some cheapy one but the intake arm has a wierd angle that doesnt really fit the intake manifold thats installed atm (i think its intake manifold). I was researching and looking up pictures and i came up with this one attatched. It has the same angle as mine and its installed into a civic but how its connected to a different intake manifold. what intake manifold is it? and how can i install it into my car.

Honestly, I have no idea WTF is going on in that picture... It looks to have a turbo manifold, yet a short ram intake at the same time. I also thought it was a carby motor at first glance, but it has a fuel rail?...

May be a custom thottle body/mintake manifold set up.

When you bought the intake, what model did it say it's designed for?

I'm tripping lol.. sorry im not much help

That picture is of a Single Point fuel injected motor.

They got them in america and japan

In aus we only got the carby, and the multi point fuel injection, which have the throttle body on the side like so

basically, youve got the wrong intake

You got the intake for the d16y7. Its the american 100hp version of our d16y4/8. Don't buy parts for the d16y7 as its different. The header/cat are one-piece in that engine.
3 guys walk into a bar. The first guy told the D to get a B series. The second guy told the B to get a K series. The last guy told the K to fk off just get a V8 mate.
