Civic Si short ram intake fit Gl model

    Hey all, newbie here....

I am interested in fitting a SRI into my 1991 Civic Gl but the manufactuers' notes all say that there products only fit the Si model. Can I still fit an intake mod into my Gl model or is there an underlying reason (ie; engine won't cope, does not fit) why they all say 'fits Si model only'.

    Many thanks!!

Basically means that the two models probably have a different engine. The fact of having a different engine means the throttle bodies on both of these engines will be a different size. Thats where the intake piping connects to. The piping may be to big or to small to fit on your cars throttle body.
