    Brisbane Fitter DIY day No2

    hi all,

    as per our meet on Sat, let organise our 2nd DIY day for our Jazz.

    date: 20 Feb 2005 (Sunday); David will be going overseas so this is pretty much the last day b4 he's off;

    time: TBA;

    venue: TBA, probably Sunflower Motors again (where we had our 1st DIY day, unless we had another place to go - open for suggestion)

    purpose: fitting radiator net & pipe for intake;

    Shaohao (the black Corolla guy who came along on Sat) is about to order some pipe for himself so i'm thinking about getting the pipes together. i guess we may need around 1.5m per car, please let me know if you want more or less;

    net should be available at Super Cheap/ Autobarn. can someone please do some price/availability research???

    Please reply if you're coming.

    i will advise the deadline for the pipe ordering soon.

    All suggestion is welcome.

    cheers
    Philip

    u mean instruction?? i won't be bothered, it's very easy.

    regarding insurance, we are not changing/altering the intake airbox/filter whatsoever. we are merely sticking a pipe from the bumper to the airbox. i don't see how it would have problem with insurance. it may have problem with warranty if water gets into the engine tho..... but that's unlikely to happen unless u drive through flooted areas.

    anyway i need to know the numbers before next Friday 11 Feb 2005 at 3pm so we can go about ordering the pipe.

    thanks

    it's good but we need to carry tools............

    removing a front bumper isn't that hard but isn't exactly a piece of cake either.

    but if someone has proper tools and doesn't mind bringing.... (i only have very basic ones like screwdrivers etc)
