    97 Civic exhaust (?) rattle

Hey guys, my partners 97 Civic has developed a loud rattle from under the front passenger seat area. I don't have ramps or anything but sticking my head under it seemed that when I pushed on the rubber bracket just in front of the (second muffler part?) mid-car, the rattle stopped for a second.

Any thoughts ahead of taking it to get a service? I'm assuming it's not something that'll damage the car to leave for a few days...

    Thanks

It could also be the 'brush guard' for the cat (which is what im assuming your describing) as the same thing happens on my civic. Its nothing to worry about, only if the noise bothers you (well your partner anyways), and an easy fix at that. You can either re-tighten all the bolts for the brush gaurd, or just take it off all together, it wont effect the car what so ever.
Not putting miles on your built cars is like not having sex with your girlfriend so she'll be more desirable to her next boyfriend.
