U can sometimes find rubber or silicone in the right shapes but if Ur really worried make the system up and then exhaust wrap it. Or use the foamy silver stuff that looks like astraunaut suit material

the air box is held in by a couple screws underneath, so look around edges.

if not just undo everything associated with it, til it comes off.

for metal just go to autopro or repco they sometimes have that stuff.
not sure what shops you got over in melb, worst case go to a turbo shop or a store that sellls race products they would have some too.

to mount to tb u want silicone or rubber hose, the tb has an outside diameter of abt 58.8mm or 2.31 inches, so your hose needs to be from 2.3inch to 3 inch. rubber hose if u get a small size will be easier to stretch over the TB where as the blue silicon stuff is quite strong.

    hope that helps man.

flipfire i think ur better off with it that way, 2 90 degree angles starts becoming restrictive.
    because air holds velocity.

so atm it would be roughly like this. where the red represents air flow path, and the blue represents the area now lost due to corners and bends. unfortunately air flow isnt like water flow. usually these blue spots carry stagnant or turbulent air that doesnt move or is not useful.

so with 2 elbows this might be worse, but its hard to say, and very much dpends on how far the bends are from each other, and waht the actuall speed of the air flow is. but its good to keep the diagram in mind i guess.

so gre03 when u do make it try get bends that are smoother and have the 90 degree bends as close as possible to each other, so u can preserve the flow path.

yeah i was going to try either 2 90 degree bends or one 90 from the tb and a small 45 to get the pod closer to the battery area but not as sharp a turn as 90.

hmm 60 degrees is popular (ive seen it around) but u could try get a 90 and cut it into 2 pipes (Y) that could work.

whats the deal with pod filter types?

i'm probably just going to get the standard type of pod, but i heard there's oil and paper types.
