    thud from dc2r left wheel.

    hi guys.

    as i was driving the other night after putting engine and box back into my integra, i noticed that there was a speed consistant thud coming from front left wheel? sounds like a rims is loose or something. obviously checked that and still just cant put a finger on whats wrong? possible wheel bearing?? just throw ideas my way

    It's easy to pull the inner CV apart without realising it when removing the axles and dropping the roller bearings off their spigots. Were the inner CV's popped out of the diff by using a lever (correct method) or pulled out by yanking on the axle?

    Also check that the driveshaft is sitting properly in the diff housing - flush against the seal.
    Torqued your wheel nuts propely?
    Is the lower ball joint TIGHT and the split pin in place ?

    problem was wrecked cv.... does anyone kno what cv shafts fit in the 96 spec integra type r JDM?
