    winding noise

    hey guys, got this annoying winding noise from the rear, i have swapped cv's before changed bearings before i might need to do this again maybe it might be another common problem not sure. it only happens when im above 50k

    50kmph, i think maybe it might be the bearings anybody else have this winding noise? diff oil is changed, back brakes are changed.

    ok guys gonna try on friday to get my cv cups swapped over again hopefully be oright

    The noise/vibration associated with the CV cups that I am familiar with is during acceleration, particularly out of right hand corners.

    If you have a mid to high frequency noise (whine rather than thump) abouve a certain speed I doubt it is the CV cups. Sounds more like bearing noise. Wheel bearings, diff bearings, secondary case bearings are all suspects. Also, it could be crown wheel and pinion noise from your diff, but this will get worse and then fail.
