    revving then cuts out

    hey guys.

    got problem with my car.

    its a zc motor.
    when i rev to 5000 then it cuts out and goes down.
    and about to stall.

    I had this happen to me! check the fuel pump, fuel cables etc. My one had one of cables disconnected.

    anything to do with sparks? dissy?
    ill take to mechanic soon. if i cant find problem

    sometime just over. or ever lower then 5000.

    i could rev it to 5000 and leave my foot on gas. but it cuts out. and stalls
    sometime doesnt stall.

    how do i reset ecu?

    just unplug re plug?

    lownslowsedan
    disconnect negative terminal of battery.
    put foot on brake pedal for like, 30 seconds.
    leave for half an hour at least.
    connect neg terminal, start engine, let run for about 10 mins at idle.

    If this doesnt help, check out fuel pressure regulator, dizzy timing, fuel pump health.

    okay. thanks will give that ago tomorrow. if not. ill change the fuel parts fuel pump and fuel regulator. and clean injectors.

    you only need to remove the 7.5A backup fues in the under dash fuesbox for 15 seconds
    OBDI ECU do not learn idle parameters so idling the engine for 10 min is pointless, disconnecting the battery for long periods of time and turning on headlights or pressing the brake pedal ect is also pointless.
