    I spoke to a person from xforce about a twin loop catback system for an 03 dc5 type r. i was told they only make them for type s and it wont fit the type r?! Is this truee ?

    It need some modification on the front section jointing to the cat flange, main difference is the length of the piping. If you are going to custom make a cat, it should be more easier.

    so if i were to purchase this i'd be best off when getting installed to put an aftermarket cat which then they can cut and weld to match up?! are all the bends and stuff the same?!

    Yes, after market cats should be ok, the system should sit in the chasis, there might also be some slight modifications on the rear hangers as well.
