just got my final drive installed today, did you guys run them in at all?

Yes. 1000kms recommended by diff technics. That's driving soft, then change diff fluid then go hard!!!

The procedure I followed was:
fill with Castrol EP80/90
get on the F3 and drive for 100km varying between 95 and 100kmph constantly
drain diff and fill with good oil

^ and around how expensive is it to get installed by a mechanic? I dont think I have the expertise to install one... and with 4.77 what rpm are you when sitting on 100-110kms??
