    Annoying Warning beep

    Hey all

I have a 94 eg and im about ready to rip the dash into pieces to get the beeper that goes off when you havent got your seatbelt on or leave your light on, if anyone knows exactly where it is that would be a great help

turning your lights off when you turn off your car and putting your seatbelt on might help stop it.

When i was stripping my eg a while back. I unclipped the plug that goes from the seatbelt wire into the dash somewhere. The beeping has since disappeared.

It was under the carpet when i ripped it up.

EDIT: Actually, no, it wasnt under the carpet, a length of it was sticking out of the carpet into the plug attached to the seatbelt thingymajig.

As above, take your driver's seat out (4 bolts) and unplug it. I did this too, very loud in the EG compared to the DC2/4 lol. Drove me nuts! I like to prime my fuel lines while I put my belt on. Probably one of the most satisfying mods I've ever done TBH

yup as above posts... unplug the little connector under your driver's seat

plug it back in if you're selling your car to a nanna or some kid with their parents as a 'safety feature' LOL..

Shouldn't need to unbolt your seat, I pulled the plug out without touching a bolt.

Does anyone know how to kill the one that goes off when you have the key in and door open in a EJ?
