Can you guys let me know how I can tell if my 99 civic 3d manual indy spec is a vtec or not .. can you tell from the vin .. the car is not badged apart from the Indy label??? Cheers D

not all sohc D series valve covers say 'VTEC' on them the 'indy special' was a cxi with yellow paint you have a D16y4 - 1.6ltr SOHC no-vtec next time make a cleaner title or i will give you an infraction

as the saint said, Indy is just a basic CXi in yellow, the most "special" thing about it is a mid spoiler. No vtec
