    Post 20x8 or 20x8.5 +45 offset

    Hi,
I recently bought an 06 Euro and am considering 2 sets of rims. I was wondering if i'd need to roll my rear guards for:

    20x8 +45 offset?

    and

    20x8.5 +45 offset?

At this stage, the car will not be lowered until i have more $$$. Thanks.

Thanks guys. Either Dolce DC 04 20" from tempe, or the Diamond Ice Chrome from Ozzy. I'm big on the chrome.

not a fan on sex spec either... heavy Tempe / Ozzy 20" with Chinese made tyres on a CL9 will just give you headache. proper 20" tyres will cost your arms and legs. my guesstimate for 20" package with Nangkang tyres is around $2300?

but trust me those wheels fitment without lowering the car will just look.. say uncool... your brakes will just look tiny. it's unbalanced mod.

nonetheless i'd do both wheels and lowering at the same time.

and why not go with good quality 18" wheels and proper tyres?

    examples:
    18 ENKEI LUSSO BLACK
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-EN...Q5fAccessories

    18 ENKEI J10 BLACK
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-EN...Q5fAccessories

    18 ENKEI WDM GUNMETAL
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-EN...Q5fAccessories

    18 ENKEI FN-18 GUNMETAL
    http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/18-EN...Q5fAccessories

and plus decent to good tyres around $700-$1000 (Falken FK452 minimum) a set you'll spend around $2000 with the rims landed.

guys **** off if your nto a fan of sex spec, who cares what you think looks nice, its what he thinks looks nice god damn.

but as said , you don't need to roll, because you wheels won't be tucking on stock hieght. i was running x9 +38, and it was sticking out like 1inch on the sides, so woulda needed a camber kit. if that kinda gives you a better clue how wide they are on a euro.

im looking at getting some alba blvds, but im pretty sure anything by x8 with less then 45, would need some rolling if ur lowered, if ur not, then you won't need 2 worry.

and btw mine were 18s, and trust me looked small for the car @ stock height. depending on the designs tho. if anything i would go 19s, perfect size.

    my car lowered on 18s

not lowered on 18s, kinda a bad picture but bleh. i think it looks too small

and how do you explain what looks nice to you? if it appeals to you and you think it would look nice on your car, then thats it. its like asking, why do you even like putting a type R lip on ur civic... uhh because it looks cooler? because i want mine to be a type R replica?

    inb4taking to serious....

just what i have to say.

there has been a debate already on the jdmstyletuning forum:

    http://forum.jdmstyletuning.com/show...DM-vs-Sex-Spec

i'm not into any of the styles, my motto is OEM or high quality parts and keep the car identity real.

it's each to their own, i simply recommended what i think were good quality wheels (which are in fact non Japanese made Enkeis and hence cheaper prices) and decent tyres (i've gone through quite a number of different brands).

i apologize if anyone was offended by my simple expression 'not a fan on sex spec either... ' as i had no intention to offend anyone, but i believe guys should be tough and open to criticism to grow and not be sensitive.

Mods Stuffs i put on my non Honda car have come from: Japan, Germany, Slovenia, USA, China, Brazil, Poland, UK and local so obviously i'm not on any of the jdm nor euro styles.
