Guys .. seen decent prices for luminous guages for cars, but can't seem to find anyone to stock them for a Type-R (due to the 10k tacho).

Emtech in SA said they could custom fabricate some, at a cost, but I was wondering if you guys had located any "off the shelf" anywhere?

    Thanks guys!

Hey Warren, you should do a search on Honda-Tech or ClubRSX. I'm sure someone on those forums have done it. I'm tipping the product is on the Jap or US market, just not sure who (if anyone does) distribute in Oz. If i find anything i'll post here.

    try motorware...

u can change the colour of the backlit - that would be easier than finding aftermarket gauges

Marco, i did mine 3 years ago at speedworks.
Im still sure none are available for the Type R but you never know.
Try, Evolution R in Cannington. Mal there stocks a few sets for around the $220 figure.

I think you cant really change the colour of the backlit on the Type R. This is because when the actual light goes pass the face of the dials, it causes the light to emit orange. I have changed the backlit of the normal vtir before but thats because it is white and the bulbs have blue covers over them. If you have some spare time, take out the dashboard and have a look at the bulbs at the back. Cheers

Not sure how but i've seen it done!! you just buy some LEDs (don't know which ones) and just replace it with existing ones I think or something similar
