Just filled up today at the petrol station and had been driving for some 30mins and noticed the car losing some power at intervals.... the revs were a little bit sporadic. Then I noticed the engine light indicator on the dash was on, lucky I was close to home and the CRV is now sitting in the drive.
I've read some reports that the engine light can come on when the fuel cap isn't secured tight and clicks.... perhaps I didn't click it tight when at the servo.
Anyhow I'm a bit reluctant now to drive it but if it was the fuel cap issue it doesn't explain the odd loss of power I was experiencing.
Can anyone offer any suggestions here, could it be catalytic converter issue.?
