D16Y4 Helical LSD break in Period

Hey guys, i just got my M factory Helical LSD installed into my Ek, running a D16y4 motor. just wondering if it is necessary to have a break in period as it is required for clutch plated LSD's but on forums from the US, they just say for helical, you can drive like a nutjob when your car is ready to go.

did M factory provide you with any information or documentation when you purchased the lsd?

I would assume they would give you the info in regards to "break in"

    have you checked their website?

First of all, congrats on the LSD.

Just drive normally for the equivalent of 1 fuel tank - don't do any hard launches during this period.
After that 1 fuel tank, change the transmission oil again and you're good to go.
