He may be good, but I was wondering... for just fluid changes and such, is it really necessary to go somewhere which costs a fair bit, relative to others.
For my car, I take my car to Hanny's Performance for just the simple fluid change because of their cheap prices. I've gotten to know the main mechanic there and he's always taking care of me now for these services/fluid changes.
All other bolt on mods etc, DIY, otherwise things like a FD, I think Top One would then need a call.
Only suggested as he lived in the CBD. Top one is in arncliff, which is alot closer the hanny's. OEM fluids are ok, but for the price i would rather get full synthetic oils.
wheres hannys at? my 80 000kms service is coming upp .. n how much am i roughly lookin at ?
cheers
You might be looking at a pricey service for the 80k, when I talked to the mechanic you have to replace your fuel filter every 80k (even though the manual says 40k according to him) plus I got all my oils changed = $350 or something like that
isit hard to change fuel filter? i was told timing belt is to be changed at 100k can someone confirm?
p.s is that around $350 parts supplied or do they supply
thx
Give whoever told you that a slap around the head. The S2000 doesn't have a timing belt. It has a chain, and doesn't need to be replaced periodically.
As to the fuel filter, it is not an inline filter but a bag on the inlet of the fuel pump. I don't believe it needs to be replaced periodically either, but I may be wrong on this. Either way, I won't be paying $80 for one.

Pretty sure s2000's use a timing chain, not belt, so need to change yet
