Recommend me a mechanic! (Sydney)
Hey guys, need to get all my oils and fluids changed and was wondering what mechanics you guys go to or can recommend me that do a good job with decent prices.
Btw I'm located in cbd so somewhere close would be great but wouldn't mind traveling but not too far lol.

For my car, I take my car to Hanny's Performance for just the simple fluid change because of their cheap prices. I've gotten to know the main mechanic there and he's always taking care of me now for these services/fluid changes.
All other bolt on mods etc, DIY, otherwise things like a FD, I think Top One would then need a call.

Hey dlai, how much do they charge you for a service? Ive heard hannys use OEM fluids, is this true?
-
they use OEM (which is awesome) for all the fluids, except with the engine oil, you can choose between Castrol 5w-30 and OEM.
I think the price should be around $250-300.
Price beats most places, as I've taken it to Toda before, and I was charged $500. lol

Yeah hanny loves OEM, i brought all my own oils, and was charged 80 for labour, for tranny, engine, oil filter plus they topped up on coolant for me.
hannys is in smithfield, so it might be a trek for you, top one would be closer to you. TBH if i was closer to them i would go there aswell.

$250-300 to change ALL fluids? That sounds pretty decent! OEM FTW haha
I'll give them a call on Monday for a quote. It's probably gonna take me an hour and a half just to get there lol.

if you book ahead you would get it changed straight away, they dont take long either, either sit there and have a coffee or walk to maccas which is across the street

Topone is very reasonable in pricing and they know hondas inside and out. Atleast Dedy installs and encourages mods, oh and you can drive up the driveway without losing your front bar.

Thanks guys for all your help. I'm leaning more towards hannys only because they use OEM fluids and that's what im after.

hahahha.. agree with this 100%. Hanny's don't like modded cars and the driveway is like a mountain.

Yeah, I had a talk to one of the older guys and they kept telling me how good it was that I have kept my car stock. But seriously that driveway, the amount times I've scrapped through there...
