Am very interested to experience how much of a difference they will give over the Bridgestone RE002. Friend ordered a set at the same time for his WRX and says they are much much stickier, but take a bit more to warm them up, which is nothing short of what i was expecting.

Sorry to argue with you Arex, but excellent street tyre they are not.

Wear rating of 140, potentially dangerous in wet, loud as, uncomfortable ride, and the need to warm them up in order to unlock that stickiness (hard to do on the streets!) an excellent street tyre it does not make. inb4 time for new rubber.

You oughta experience the F1 Eagle asymmetric 2 I got on my car. Now that's a truly excellent street tyre. RSR is for weekend track warrior with no consideration to wear or NVH who uses car as part-time daily.

Wear rating of 140 (because race car), potentially dangerous in wet (good for hecktic drifts), loud as (because awesome stuff grabs your attention), uncomfortable ride (it's a fantastic ride because the sidewalls are stiffer, no one likes a limp dick), and the need to warm them up in order to unlock that stickiness (hard to do on the streets! (In what scenario do you need to unlock that stickiness on the streets, brb heading out to touge) ) an excellent street tyre it does not make (it's a nice tyre for people who like a more track orientated feel). inb4 time to buy a race car.

They suit my needs perfectly which makes them an excellent street tyre.

If i had of said 'excellent all round daily comfortable therefor slightly compromised tyre', well then, that you can argue.

I understand where you are coming from, and im sure there are many better tyres out there.

But my personal experience with them is awesome lol I love them, they are great

RSR great performance for what you pay. Got them on my DC2 as well. Not hard to warm up on mountain roads.

Would recommend to anyone looking for an entry level street semi
