Had a spare aus spec type R cluster lying around, was going to put it in but then my cars japspec (180) and IMO looks better at 180 max
So.. i decided to fuze both of them together lol

Pretty much kept the japspec cluster but change the tacho, all the needles over and the carbon fibre backing
And just not use the plastic guard thing lol

lmao just use air compressor and blow

Anyways, cut my rocker cover today to expose the cam gears for the tune coming up.


Basically stripped it down, sprayed a silver base coat


Slapped a thin layer of blue


then i purposely lightly over spray with silver


then a light coat blue


then a thick layer of blue


and smashed it with clear


FINAL RESULT? also sprayed the spark plug cover the opposite (silver with light layer of blue then silver and clear)



I will be sanding down the letters once its dryed and try to polish it up

Vinh, use a razor blade to cut the paint off the letters, and then wet sand with 400g on a metal block. Comes up a treat
