Honda Civic EG6, Improved Production 1600 class, 2006 season

I've managed to round up some of the video footage I captured with my on-board video during the 2006 NSW Championship and upload it to YouTube. This is the Under 2 Litre class which had a subclass for 1600 cars like mine.

Car Specs:

Imported Honda Civic EG6
TEIN coilovers (came on the car when it was imported)
Buddy Club 15" wheels
SPOON ECU and VTEC controller
random gauges - oil temp, oil pressure, water

Build:

Complete strip and repaint in 2pac white
Full roll cage
Velo GP90 FIA race seat on custom rails
custom straight through exhaust
full replacement of all bushes with polyurethane (custom) by Noltec Suspension
Yokohama Advan A048
Ogura racing clutch
Series 1 CRX full size radiator
Earl's Oil Cooler and remote filter (inside driver's side wheel arch for quick change)

Hope you enjoy these blasts from the past. Also good for anyone who never got to go out to Oran Park before it was bulldozed for housing.

Car finished every qualifying and every race for a Top 10 outright finish for the season, and third (3rd) in class).

Yes I understand the EG6 couldn't be registered but thought it might have something to do with your business. Infotech motorsport?? or the two not linked?

Infotechplus Motorsport was actually one business (INFOTECH = web site design and construction PLUS MOTORSPORT = public relations for a small number of national race teams). When I stopped doing that I kept the name for my own racing. The car was imported by me as an individual and sponsored accordingly.

Thanks. As I only had about 4 months to take the car from the boat to the track (build time) I left it almost stock. The plan was to run the first season then build a B20VTEC hybrid. I never got that far as I sold the car early in 2007 so I only did the one season, which was regretful but it's just the way things turned out.

there alway a plan or idea to get back into it i say, got alot of my suspension Replace of bushes in my suspension arms and help me out getting some neg camber on my ED9 crx done last year by Greg Nolan who was part owner in Nolan ED civic , his open up a new business at woywoy doing race prep work and some work Research and Development for whiteline as he sold business to them few years ago
