Help - Integra VTI-R not starting
Hello everyone, my mate has an Integra VTI-R DC2, and the other night, it didnt start.
Its got petrol in it (as we filled a few litres in it), and the battery works (lights, accessories and music plays). tried jump starting it and rolling starting it, still nothing.
Possible problems we think:
- fuel pump (but was changed a few months ago)?
- starter battery (or whatever its called)?
Abit of insight:
- i jump in, click it over twice and on the third, the car tries to click over to start the engine but nothing happens, and keeps repeating itself. While it makes the sound of the engine trying to turn on..
I'm not quite sure about that sound, but any ideas/help would be nice.
*not quite sure if i posted this in the right section.
Thanks in advance

yeh, check for spark,
its common for the coil in honda's to die... or even the icm might be old as well.
i had a similar problem..fuel was pumping. even had spark.
but i changed the coil. only $40 at local parts store. solved the problem.
does you fuel pump prime??? when you put you keys into ignition, can you hear the pump prime???

SORRY TO HIJACK THE THREAD. Having the same issue but let the tank run very low, then put some fuel in and still doing the same thing i changed my bat coz it was dead after 5yrs of use, i can here like humming noise when i turn it to ignition. what do you guys mean by priming? i have bought new plugs but have not put them in yet..
Could it be the main relay???
What else could be the issue??

the buzzing noise is the fuel pump priming.
check to see if you have spark.
