2nd gear won't enage at high rpm

LOL well bad news now it won't reverse out of my drive way sigh.....

Then you are lucky. Reverse gear does not have synchros and hopefully the 2nd gear issue is also non-synchro related.
Check your clutch fluid level and bleed out any air bubbles too. Also check the shifter linkages which are above the transmission (under the airbox).

If it is your fluids try and rev your car while clutch in and chucking it in reverse it should get the fluids moving around its way I did when mine was playing up

thank god i didn't wanna pull the gearbox out for the third time...
