Insurer can only deny a claim when the modification is directly linked to the cause of the accident.
Eg: SRI air filter pod caught fire damaged the car in Vic where exposed pod filter is illegal
Or
Car clipped ground whole going up a driveway because it's lowered beyond legal limit.
Or
Driving around in bald tyres where it lost control and hit a tree
Thanks for everyones concerns but I highly doubt my seats will be the reason of an accident. However I will find an elelctrical engineer and see how I am going to remove the light or complete the circuit.

Lol..thank goodnes. Dont know if I could watch a CL9 die, saw some of that flooding and cars being swept off on tv a while back. Just for peace of mind i guess
