Cross fingers for the drive to work tomorrow
You can drive it to work no problem with that, but check you vaccum lines. Also if it idle at around 2k rpm, what is the rpm when start the car?

I uploaded A manual for you, I had hard time to adjust the idle on my old d15b4. It was pain in the A88. What you can do :
1- Warm up the car untill it idle as low as possible
2- you have 2 screws, one on each carbie, play with it a little bit, do not screw it more than 1/4 spin each time.
3- check your rpm with a/c off and a/c on.
Until you have 700 +-50 rpm
