    vtec engament

    i have recently added a cannon style exhaust to my car and the car wasnt driven for 2 months before i addex the new exhaust my second cam engaged heaps loud its a vtir and now for som reason i hear the 4500 change over but not the 5500 change over before it would come on hard now you cant even hear it any ideas guys i want it loud again

    smoother engagement = better performance

    put a whale type intake - this will increase the sound

    I think you are hearing the exhaust more than the engine. what engine is that?

    Dc2 Integra VTI-R = B18c2

    intake runners open up around 4500rpm than the cam lobes switch at 5900rpm
