Hello from your rival, a corolla driver.

    Hey ozhonda!

Thought id join up here, hopefully try and steal some tricks and get some tips off of you Honda boys (and girls)... particularly the civic drivers.

I drive an AE82 Corolla Twin Cam with a 4AGE which is being neatened up at the moment so it can become my daily drive aswell as see the track a few times a year.

So Im obviously looking forward to being the odd one out

Welcome. I also had an ae92 sx (4age small port) just to give you an idea, it drives almost identical to the eg5 (ive had both varients, sohc vtec and twin cam non vtec) they both make the same power as small port 4age.

Sounds like Vtec??! Nevarr!! :P LOL

The 20V Blacktop has that vtec kick in sound, they have vvti which is a similar concept. But alas, my Bigport 4AGE just sounds like ol skool cool high revving race car :P

Man, I'd love to have some ITB's but... someday...

Anyway, pics of said car below...

How it looked when the previous owner bought it (dont have a photo of when i did. looked the same though)

Car still needs alot of work to get it to be how i want it to, but that all takes time.

Bit of a POS... I know, but i love it :P lol

    Welcome mate.

Ex ae92sx silvertop 20v owner here too

They sound sweet but pound for pound cant match vtecs imo
The 20v are a nicer looking motor though
